LA Cops Update Number 4 ia available now!
PLEASE NOTE: THIS UPDATE WILL RESET YOUR PROGRESSION THROUGH THE GAME

We're very happy to say that we have a brand new update coming out today for LA Cops Early Access on PC and Mac. Included in this update are the following features:

• New Level 6 - Warehouse!
  A challenging new level with new gameplay features including exploding barrels, waves of enemies and a mission to rescue a hostage before the countdown reaches zero!
  
  
• New Cutscene
  What is Teddy Green really up to. Find out in this brutal Cutscene.
  
  
• Difficulty Modes
  New Normal, Hardcore and Nightmare modes will keep you up all hours!
  
  Normal mode will offer a challenge but we know that in a game like this you want something that will really push your reflexes. That's why we've added Hardcore mode which is that much harder. Enemies will be harder to kill and react more quickly. Nightmare mode will push you to the edge. Its going to be possible to complete the game but only just.
  
  
• A myriad of fixes
  Thanks to the sterling work of Team17's QA and production departments we're implementing a ton of fixes to the gameplay which you'll start to see taking effect in this build.
  
  We're eliminating crashes & class A bugs that will ensure the game is a very solid experience whilst addressing issues with the tutorial to make sure its totally clear as to how to play the game.
  
  
• A ton of polish
  We're working very hard to make LA Cops a great experience with lots care and attention to how it all feels.
  
  Weapons and enemies have been balanced, levels have been tweaked and the score system updated to reflect performance.
  
  
• Resetting Progression
  As part and parcel of the changes made in this update, save data created before this update will no longer load. In short, you'll have to start from scratch. We hate doing this and know that it may frustrate players - the changes above required a change to the way the game saves data, and we hope you'll understand that it's for the greater good!

There's lots more to come too, including many more levels, challenges and a conclusion to the story thread that will leave you wanting more.
