Need help with Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry?

Have you witnessed any bugs, has your game crashed or are you experiencing some performance issues with the game?

Settings file location:
%USER PROFILE%\Documents\Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry\Assassin4.ini

Save file location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<User-ID>\664\

Ubisoft Connect launcher required:
This game also requires the Ubisoft Connect launcher and a Ubisoft Account to play. You will be asked to create a Ubisoft Account, the first time that you launch the game, if you do not already have one.

*Please Note: The Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag base game is not required to play Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry.

If you already own Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Gold Edition or the Season Pass, the Freedom Cry missions are already included in your game!

Running the game in Compatibility Mode

As with some of our older titles that were released a few years ago for different Window's OS versions, you may need to run the game in Windows Compatibility mode if using a modern PC, to emulate the Windows OS that the game originally was released for.

To do this, first locate the games .exe game file -

Right click on the file and select the Properties option
Next, select the 'Compatibility' tab
Select the one of the older Windows OS -
Windows Vista SP2/Windows 7 SP1/Windows 8
Select Apply
Select OK
Launch game by double clicking on the games .exe file

Please note, the game also uses the older versions of DirectX, DirectX 9 supporting software. Please make sure this version is installed in your games 'Support' installation folder, if you having any problems launching the game,
