Heads up....Stand Alone version does NOT support mouse & keyboard controls
I bought it today and found out that the stand alone version does NOT recognize the keyboard/mouse controls....and there is no patch from the developers even though they are aware of it and have been for years! Like WTF Ubisoft!

Evidently the DLC version (for those who own Black Flag) does not have this issue...not positive about that but this is what I read on the Ubi forums. Can't believe the devs have not fixed this issue!

So, I suggest you do not buy the game. A big disappointment.

Standalone version also doesn't play sea shanties, at least not on PC. The DLC version is demonstrably better until Ubi decides to patch this 3-year-old DLC (they won't).

I play the standalone version with keyboard and mouse just fine, no altering required.

keybord and mouse worked for me when i played it.

It’s 2024 nearly 25 and it’s still a problem. Im gonna dust off a controller then.
