anyone able to get this working fully on linux/steam deck?

ive tried different proton versions but i keep having the same issues. First videos do not automatically play. I have to open and close the menu or click the play button a few times for them to begin. Second once the videos play the options for the next decision are shown the entire video not just when its time to make a decision. This means they cover the subtitles during video playback. I can get around the videos not automatically playing but im struggling without being able to see subtitles. any help i...
