Eomm is what happens when you create a matchmaking system that's Designed to give everyone awards for participation and nothing more..
You can't run a functional honest ladder on eomm.. Developers just work really hard to sell the lie that it can be done..
The only things players who blame matchmaking are at fault for is being to lazy to better understand how eomm works.
If they did that, they would not only begin to understand how flawed eomm actually is, but also how those flaws can be used to cheat the ladder..
I've been cheating eomm ladders for years. Lol
The only people guilty of trying to trick people here are game developers who run ladders with EoMM, by selling the lie that eomm is a matchmaking system.. not
the marketing tool masquerading as a matchmaking system that it actually is
You know if eomm was actually a competitively fair matchmaking system, players wouldn't be able to maniuplate it for an advantage.
But since players can maniuplate it it for an advantage, they will, and for everyone else who's not taking advantage suffer for it..
People who get hard stuck on eomm ladders typically do as the result of others manipulating the system..
If the system can be cheated for an advantage people are going to take advantage. So your only putting your at a disadvantage by not taking advantage of it..
Whats funny is developers are fully aware that eomm can be exploited, but can't do anything about it but greed won't let them abandon it..
Yep, every ladder that uses eomm is like that..
This is because if gain/loss rates were even, most players would eventually stagnate on the ladder due to the nature of eomm...
Yep that's because they are "bad players" mostly due to willful ignorance.
But those players naturally get the benfits just by nature of being weaker players.
Eomm is a system that is designed to show bias in how it builds matches.. the nature of that bias is prevent weak players from losing to much.
That bias is what your ultimately manipulating, so there's literally no benefit for weaker players, since the bias is already working in their favor.
For strong players it's all about controlling when and where you lose/win. In order to gain control of when that bias works for or against you..
The TOTAL average win rate for the account is what Influences that bias.
