Echo Questline -> Autophage questline
I´ve got a problem.
I make the echo-questline until the point, you have to choose a galaxy to join in the atlas station.
I was afraid, because i don´t wonna loose my game and i didn´t choose any galaxy and play on my game.

My problem is, i wanna play the questline to became the autophage questline but i didn´t find the atlas - station, were i can choose a galaxy?

The Questtext told me ... the Atlas - Station is waiting for you, if you changed your mind.

But were? Were is he waiting? ;)

You don’t need to accept the atlas to do the autophage quests if your trying to get to another galaxy just go through the core(if you input only the first glyph in a portal you get tped close) or my preference warp to a base in the galaxy you want

on the galaxy map you can warp jump to the nearest atlas , select at the top, atlas station instead of the default galaxy centre that pops up , on keyboard its done with arrow keys
-also in your log select the quest you want - if its atlas it will guide you in the galaxy map or select the autophage one

You can not activate the Autophage quest until you have fully completed the Artemis/Apollo/~nul~ quest, including the final galaxy reset.

There is no alternative.

I didn't reset the galaxy either, but I met the autophage in Euclid, and did some quests for them including making a staff-multitool. Also began learning their language.

This was after I scored a sentinel interceptor, and flew around in it for some time which triggered a secondary quest. The autophage had tried to "hack" the ship, they said because they only scanned for the 3 main lifeforms and thought my ship had no pilot.

One of your options at the end of the Artemis path is choosing to not reset the simulation. Making this choice still counts as having completed it for the Autophage requirements. i.e. you do not have to choose one of the orbs (you don't actually get the option to do so if you refuse the atlas) and you do not have to leave Euclid.

All you have to do is get to the point you get that choice. If you choose not to reset, to refuse the Atlas, you have finished the Purge and qualify for the autophage quest to begin (assuming you have also visited a harmonic encampment and done the requirements at one of those).

Lots of very incorrect information is out there on what the requirements are for the autophage mission to trigger, including people saying you have to finish Trace of Metal and that you have to go to a different galaxy, etc. Neither of those things is true. You just have to complete "The Purge" and engage with a harmonic encampment. Refusing the atlas and not resetting the simulation is one of the options for completing The Purge.

To the OP, regarding the game telling you to return to the atlas. My guess is you already did visit and chose not to reset the simulation (i.e. you refused the Atlas). If that is the case, the game is misleading you when it says to return to the Atlas. You're done.

See the wiki[nomanssky.fandom.com] for additional details.

Correct, at the completion of the story quests (the Artemis/Apollo/~nul~ missions) you can choose not to reset. Perhaps my post should have said "including the optional final galaxy reset." The test is whether the quest line has disappeared from your log.

The Atlas Path quest will remain in the log and either it or the Space Anomaly quest will become the default quest whenever the log resets itself. Potentially the OPs quest is now defaulting to the Atlas Path?

Incidentally, Trace of Metal was originally a pre-requisite. It was removed. That info was not incorrect, but it is now out-dated.

Something that is no longer true, even if it was true at one time, is still also "incorrect" at this point in time. What was once true is not relevant to anyone looking for answers today unless it is still also correct.
