Anomalies! The latest trend of hidden objects…wait, is it still the latest trend? I still see a lot of them so I will go with yes on this one.

I loved this game. Mostly because I didn't scream in terror with jump scares but also because it was truly fun.

I got frustrated so many times yet kept going. I'd take a picture, so sure of myself that I got the anomaly only to wake up and look at the time - back to 1am, I didn’t get the anomaly. Start again, rinse and repeat.

The game's premise is that you are in some sort of sleep study, and it ends at 9am. Doors open and you can leave. From 1 to 9 you have to find a single anomaly for each hour that passes. Sounds super easy right? Wrong! The game will give you such a confidence boost. You'll get some really obvious, fun, spooky or just hiding in plain sight anomalies, then all of a sudden…. Everything looks exactly the same. No spooks, no fun ones. Everything is hiding. Everything looks the same.

"I think the stove has a slight deviation. That must be it!"…. 1 am.

I have 4.7 hours played per Steam. My "survived the night" (that's what I'm calling it) run was 21 minutes. If you do the math, or gloss over the math. I spent more than 4 hours failing. 🤣🤣🤣

Yet, it was still so much fun. I didn't even get all 81 anomalies in those 4.7 hours.

Yes, there are some mild jump scares and some spooky ghostlike entities and what I call Grudge-children, but all I had to do was get that picture as fast as I could and run to the bed before they caught me. That is, if they were actually following. I honestly didn't look bad. I've seen enough to know, in horror, you never look back.

If you have amazing superpowers and can find all anomalies on your first run, it's a short, fun and entertaining game. If you are like me, it's an average to long run-time, fun and entertaining game.

The game is very adequately priced, and it's a game you can keep going back to in those dull in between moments to try and complete the plethora of anomalies there are to find.

My favorite will always be the hide and seek anomaly. I was happy every time I got that one.

Yet another great addition to the anomaly horror genre! This one stands out by offering 81 unique anomalies to discover, providing around 3 hours of gameplay if you’re aiming to uncover them all. The creativity in the anomalies, especially the inclusion of the cute mascot character, Cue-chan, adds a fun and quirky touch that keeps things interesting.

What I really appreciate about this game is that it avoids the usual cheap jump scares, relying more on atmosphere and tension to keep you on edge. It’s a refreshing change in a genre often dominated by sudden loud noises and quick frights.

If you’re into anomaly horror games, this one is definitely worth checking out. With plenty of content, creative ideas, and a solid 3 hours of gameplay, it delivers a fun experience without resorting to overused horror tropes. Highly recommended!
