🧪The Closed Beta for Species: Unknown is currently underway — and it’s not too late to join the mission! Join our Discord[discord.gg] and help us shape the future of the game.

🚀 How to Join

✅ Head over to the Steam page and click the "Request Access" button under the Playtest section.
This will put you in the waiting list to the beta build and allow you to start playing in the following days.

🎉 Don’t miss the very first live playtest of Species: Unknown, happening as part of the Games Made In France 2025 digital event (French speaking only) on Saturday, May 17 at 6:20 PM (CEST)!

🎮 French streamers Ultia and DamdamLive will play the game live for 15 minutes — and we hope they’ll make you really want to try it for yourself.

Games Made In France is a 4-day livestream event showcasing some of the best upcoming games from the French scene. Tune in from May 15 to 18 on MisterMV’s Twitch channel[www.twitch.tv].

If it's UE5, someone can mod in VR (aka UEVR). Then we can have both flat and VR players together!

Playtest feedback

First off, congratulations because the game was a good surprise. (I'm not going to enter the VR or no VR debate.) I was wary at first, but our first session went well, the game looks good and runs smoothly. So far we've faced two different specimens and found the game to be fun. However I believe one thing needs an urgent fix: There should be some form of control over voice chat. I had to mute my friends on Discord because voice chat was ON by default, impossible to disable or mute, and the volume wasn't...

Please ADD VR Support :)

Heeeey.. probably another fan of Propagation VR can you please add VR support also here? VR truly extrapolates gameplay and the entire gaming experience. Even if you add it on a later stage... I will get it for the VR support
