is there anyway to skip the tedious desert mission ?
it was somewhat enjoyable as a simulation of thorging through a miserable desert but no i feel it's just pointless frusteration.

I'm surprised people do not like this level. I think it is fun sending scouts ahead, assessing the situation, planning attacks, and make sure everyone gets water jut in time before they collapse

It is - but more so than the other missions you can spend a lot of time only to fail, and when that happens twice or three times in a row it makes you to want to stop playing the game.

tbh i think they should release a version of the game with a mode where every time you fail a mission it kicks you back to the first chapter. call it "Immersive Mode"
