If none of the above two things worked, I suggest you give the game a clean reinstall.

• Delete ALL game files from all your PC's folders manually (instead of using Steam's 'uninstall' function, as that leaves behind some files), before then reinstalling the game again.

Nothing worked unfortunately - I am also running an i5. I think it might be graphics related, is there any way to de-tune to low on start-up?

Do you know if there are issues with external graphics cards. Same as adambed - i can click one menu item quickly, but I can't get any further than this. It shouldn't choke on the intro screen, makes me think there's something else going on in the build (it's the same framework as the original, yes?)

BTW loved the first two King Arthur's and the latest is a great foray into turn-based RPG, kudos to the dev team.
