Can I skip the common route?
I've 100% completed the main game. I've started this one, and it looks like it starts at the common route. Is the common route exactly the same from the main game? Is it safe to skip it without missing out on any content?

The common route is the exact same as the originals. Once the opening movie plays, I believe you're given a dialogue choice to continue the common route or, if you've already played through the original, you can choose to skip it and it'll skip down to her route.
