FS2 Vanilla 1080p

is it possible to get the vanilla steam version of this game running via steam @ 1080p without FSOPEN or KNOSSOS? even with nglide it defaults to glide3d 1024 x 768

as far as I know, 1024 x 768 is the max resolution without using FSO. Since FSO/Knossos is so easy to use though I have never seriously researched any other way.

ty for reply, FS1 goes to 1080p via nglide. using fs2 thru knossos doesn't add steam hrs :(

I come back to this forum every few months to laugh at people who refuse to use fsopen. It's seriously like if you buy it on steam, you are forced to take a class on how fsopen is like a virus or something. Who cares about showing off steam hours to your friends when you got literally a 100 times better experience and endless mods.
