Over 9000 Zombies!

Framerate drops in multiplayer.
When I'm playing with a friend, I have massive fps drops after day 10 or so. Host on the other hand has no problems at all.

My fps dropped to literally 1fps, we managed to surive till day 19 but at that point my game went completely insane, showing that I was still on day 17, blocks that were destroyed on host's side were fine on my end, bonuses stayed almost forever on a ground, and I couldn't built anything, but monsters were spawning just fine in sync with host's game.

When I was the host we had similar problems except he had fps drop a bit later ~ on day 15.

Interestingly enough a game we played a couple days ago was completely fine, with just minor fps drops.

Hey,

That is very strange that it worked fine the other day but not recently. I know this may sound silly, but try playing the game after a fresh reboot, or close some other programs to free up some additional resources.

It is also possible there is some sort of memory leak going on, which is causing it to slow to a crawl.

What are you system specs in terms of CPU, GPU and memory?

AMD Phenom II x4
GeForce GTX750
8 gigs of RAM

Again, my friend had the same problem when he was connected to me. My game (host) was fine, his game (joined) had fps drop.
Can slow/bad internet connection be the reason? Because game runs perfectly in single player mode.

Oh, and another weird bug I've encountered when we first played - I joined a game and did not get any progress on achievements for killing non-zombie mobs and bosses i.e. "Kill 90,000+ Zombies!" achievement was working fine, but "Kill over 1000 zombie dogs!" counter stayed on 0.

It might be related to the internet connection because those specs should be plenty to run the game, and like you said, single player works fine.

I am heavily leaning towards a memory leak of some kind. Does this sort of lag occur when you play with any one else?

I checked memory and cpu during play, and it was completely fine with CPU usage around 30 and ~190mb of RAM. I haven't played with anyone else, so it might be a problem unique to just us.
