In this hotfix, we have addressed some issues that were present in the Beta branch version.

• The issue where the Escape key didn't work when starting a project and saving designs at the Weapon Design Desk has been fixed.
• The problem with the incorrect value displayed for Sell Chance in the character menu has been resolved.
• The issue with the blade bar getting stuck in the heating furnace and being unable to select it has been fixed.
• The problem with the incorrect display of the glow outlines for slanted weapons has been fixed.
• To improve visibility, the transparency of the reference image in the Lathe has been increased.

• The issue where the player could enter the furnace has been fixed.

Weapon Design Desk:

We've updated the game engine to improve compatibility with new devices. To make sure older devices are not affected, this version will be available on the test branch for now.

New players can start directly with this version! Plenty of new features, updates, and bug fixes are waiting for you!

If you've played before, please note that old save files won't work and will be deleted automatically. We recommend backing up your save files before switching. This way, you can go back to the previous version if needed.

The art of commerce in your blacksmith shop is evolving! Every customer now has a unique profession, purchasing power, preferred weapon type, and even weapon traits they simply can’t use.

With this new trading system, you'll encounter eight distinct customer classes—each with their own expertise, needs, and budget. Their profession shapes their weapon preferences:

• Rogues favor swift daggers.
• Soldiers demand durable swords.
• Peasants prefer cheap, lightweight weapons they can carry with ease...

Of course, a customer’s weapon preference isn't an unbreakable rule. A rare, masterfully crafted blade can tempt even the most stubborn buyer. But if you’re trying to sell them something outside their usual interests, you'd better give them a good reason—perhaps a little discount might do the trick...


Every weapon must meet certain minimum requirements based on the profession of its wielder.

• A soldier marching into battle won’t trust a fragile sword that might break mid-fight.
• A mage can’t channel their magic through weapons that aren’t made of pure gold.
• Anti-mages, sworn to fight rogue mages, will refuse any weapon that contains gold.

With all these factors in play, the economy in Medieval Blacksmith is taking on a whole new life! To make quick and steady profits, you’ll need to understand your customers and carefully stock your shelves with weapons tailored to their buying power and preferences.

This new trade system puts the sales strategy entirely in your hands!

It’s all about supply and demand, and the choice is yours.

Thanks to your amazing feedback, we’ve made several adjustments to further balance the trade system. We've fine-tuned the prices of certain tools, ores, and items while also addressing a few mechanics that made earning money too easy.

We've also reworked the weapon pricing system to emphasize skill and craftsmanship over raw material costs. Now, factors like cut rate and pierce rate directly impact a weapon’s value. This means that workmanship is now more important than just expensive materials when determining a weapon's price.

To prevent overpriced, game-breaking profits (like 30,000–40,000 coins), we've stabilized the economy. Our goal was to balance profits to around 1,000 coins per weapon, which we believe is fair when compared to rent, special customer income, and material costs. But of course, we’d love to hear your thoughts!

To prevent repetitive money-making strategies, we've also changed how Nurenor Pass mines work. Ore locations are no longer fixed—every time you enter the mining area, the ore spawns will shift. High-value ores are now rarer, making the mining economy more dynamic and challenging.

These changes aim to break the boring, overpowered strategy of simply mining gold and forging heavy golden weapons for easy cash. However, we haven’t altered the income from special customers, as it's crucial for keeping the story progression smooth.

Balancing updates will now be more frequent, and we’ll keep refining the system based on your feedback! Stay tuned!


This update brings tons of new weapon parts, including pommel, guard, handle, and blade parts. Plus, thanks to a new blade thickness adjustment feature, you can now craft rapiers, greatswords, and more!

• Blade parts and heavy weapons have been rebalanced, affecting cut rate, pierce rate, and material influence.
• Point of Balance now impacts weapon speed, making weapons with a center of mass closer to the hilt easier to handle.
• You can now thin wooden handles at the assembly desk to craft sleek grips like katana handles (tsuka), enhancing your weapon’s aesthetics.


A new, extremely difficult weapon grade has arrived—one that only the most masterful blacksmiths can achieve: God Craft!

This divine-tier weapon grade is even harder to craft than Legendary, requiring absolute perfection. To reach this level, every single quality stat of the weapon must be at 100%, because a weapon worthy of the gods demands flawless craftsmanship!

🔥 Important Note: Since achieving a true 100% is technically impossible, weapon stats of 99.5% and above will be rounded up to 100%.

Only the most patient and perfectionist blacksmiths will be able to forge these celestial weapons. Are you up for the challenge?

I'm excited to share details about the upcoming update that we plan to release in the coming days!

First and foremost, we want to sincerely thank all our players who have shared their positive and negative feedback throughout this process. We have carefully noted all your suggestions and criticisms, and we've made a great effort to incorporate much of this valuable feedback into the update.

One of the key issues with previous updates was that changes to the game’s save file structure made older saves incompatible. To address this, we took extra time to finalize adjustments that might impact the save system. These changes primarily involve weapon design, new weapon parts, new tools, new items, and new customer types—all of which affect the save file structure. We are now at the final stage of this work, and once testing is complete, we will be sharing the update with you.

Another major change involves updating the game engine version. While this won't significantly affect gameplay, we made this change after receiving reports that some high-performance systems were experiencing issues. To ensure the new version runs smoothly on all devices, we will first release it as a short-term, open beta test branch.

For players who wish to continue using their existing save files, you’ll still have some time before the update takes effect.

We’re now at the final stretch of development for this update, and we’re completing the testing phase to ensure you have the best possible experience. We’re just as excited as you are to share it with you once testing is done!

In this hotfix, we've addressed some issues within the game and made improvements to its difficulty.

Skill Tree Adjustments

As you know, we introduced the skill tree in the 1.5.0 update. However, based on the feedback we've received from our players, we've decided to make some critical skills much more accessible. Specifically, the reputation required to unlock the Auto Hammering and Molten Heart (Boiling Icon) skills has been reduced from 200 to 75. This means you'll be able to unlock these skills quickly by completing the first quest and crafting a couple of weapons.

Mining

To provide a faster mining experience, we've reverted the base pickaxe swing speed to match the pre-1.5.0 versions. With the new skill tree abilities, you can now increase this speed even beyond what it was in earlier versions.

Customers

We’ve also fixed an issue with customer visit frequencies. In versions prior to 1.5.0, customers visited the shop every 60 to 120 seconds, but in the current version, this was mistakenly adjusted to 100 to 200 seconds. With skills, you can now reduce this interval to 50 to 100 seconds for a smoother gameplay experience.

Improvements / Balance Changes

• Default pickaxe swing speed has been increased.
• Fixed an issue with customer visit frequency.

We've also adjusted the number of ores slaves can mine per day at level 100:

• Iron: 22
• Copper: 15
• Cila Khanka: 12
• Silver: 7
• Gold: 4

• Additionally, mining silver and gold rocks has been made 15% easier for players. (This will improve significantly with skills!)

• A button has been added to the Weapon Preview Window to hide the UI for a clearer view.


• Resolved UI scaling issues on widescreen displays.
• Fixed a bug in the Save Window where the gameplay time counter would break after exceeding 24 hours.

Today, we have two exciting announcements for you. First, we're thrilled to share that the demo for Medieval Blacksmith will be available soon! Along with this exciting news, we’re also bringing you the details of our latest update! We’d like to take a moment to thank all our players for their invaluable feedback and bug reports. Your support means the world to us!


Skill Tree:

One of the most requested features by our players was a skill tree and a way we could utilize the professional reputation you’ve earned.

So we’ve combined these elements and introduced a brand-new skill tree system!

Now, the reputation you earn through crafting weapons, completing quests, and interacting in dialogues can be used to enhance your abilities.

With this skill tree, attributes like hammering and sharpening speed can be improved significantly compared to previous versions. Some features that were previously default have also been moved to the skill tree—not to nerf them, but to provide a more satisfying sense of progression. However, if you find this situation boring, please let us know.

New Starting Tutorial:

We’ve added a small quest to guide you through crafting your first weapon after opening your blacksmith shop. This serves as a mini-tutorial to help new players get started.



• Adjusted the hardness of rocks: Valuable ores are now harder to mine, while less valuable ores are easier.

• Slave mining speeds have been balanced. Valuable ores now take longer to mine, while less valuable ones are faster.

• Slaves can now mine alloys with the following drop rates:


• Slave crafting speeds now scale based on the material used. (For example, crafting a copper weapon is faster than crafting a steel one.)

• The previous system where slaves consumed 4 ores per weapon has been removed. They now consume ores based on the weapon's size.

• Maximum ore capacity can now reach 50 with the appropriate skill unlocked. (Only 5 ores will appear in the scene at a time, but new ones spawn as they're used.)

• Added a button in the Weapon Inspect Window to toggle the effects of enchanted weapons.

• Added an indicator in the Weapon Inspect Window to show if a weapon has been quenched with a magical effect.

• Added zoom in/out options to the Weapon Inspect Window.

• Ores inside the bucket can now be inspected when the bucket is placed in the forge.

• The character’s height has been reduced by 5 cm.

• The maximum weapon name length has been increased.

• Lower-priced weapons now yield more reputation.


Note: These bonuses are only valid for Uncommon and above grades.

• Held items now sway slightly when walking or running.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a naming error related to the red coin.
• Corrected the icon for weapon sale notifications.
• Resolved an issue where spectator sounds in the arena weren’t affected by sound options.
• Fixed an issue when speaking with NPCs like Saguna and Ranophel.
• A bug that occurred during conversations on the way back from the mines has been fixed.

We have released this hotfix to address two critical bugs related to the game. We sincerely thank our players for reporting these issues to us.

• Fixed a dialogue issue with the tribe chief.
• Resolved the issue of warriors' items disappearing after death in battles.

In this update, we have added language support for some languages to Medieval Blacksmith and included some of the wonderful feedback we've received from you. We would like to sincerely thank all of our players who provided these valuable feedback and reported bugs in our game. In the coming days, we will be working to incorporate other great ideas that we couldn’t include in this update.

Our work on translation and localization will continue at the same pace.

Here are some of the changes you can find in this update:

• Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Turkish language support has been added.
• The [SN] text in the Blade part has been removed and replaced with dynamic text.
• The exit button in the arena has been fixed.
• The scaling issue in the character screen has been resolved.
• The selected fuller type now affects the weapon's weight.
• The issue with the guard changing when loading saved heavy weapons (axe, mace, hammer) has been fixed.
• The positions of weapons on the shelves have been corrected.

• Tools can now be switched using the mouse wheel.
• The training dummy now shows cut, pierce, and smash damage.
• The issue where fighters who lost in battles were not removed from the inventory has been fixed.
• The production times for the weapons made by slaves are now proportional to the difficulty of processing the ore they use.
