You're commenting on the English version by NISA, yet your profile shows you bought the Chinese/Korean version by CLE.

That is your issue. Refund CLE's version and buy NISAs.

why there's 2 versions of the same game?

Different ports and different publishers. Why? No clue, it just is.

Falcom doesn't port or localize their own games so different publishers get the rights to publish the games in different languages for different regions. Pretty much all of Falcoms games for the past half decade have had NISA and CLE ports on Steam. So when buying just look for the one that actually says it has English and is published by NISA. The other will have a big orange box saying "English language not supported" above the buy button.

Man, it clearly says on the store page that it doesn't support English at all. That's a you type of error. It's not a global release. Just accept you made a mistake, own it, and rectify the problem. Refund it, and get the NISA port while you can. THE CLE port, besides lacking English, is quite inferior to the PH3 (Durante) port. It is more hardware demanding and has quite poor performance in comparison.

if the game is chinese only why isn't the ****** page also in chinese?

Why would you sell something that cannot be used in the language it's being sold?

You should ask this question to the company which actually sells the Chinese/Korean version, CLE. It's highly unlikely they'll read the forums of this English version of the game, published by NIS America, so you'd best ask it on the forum of the CLE version.

Most PC games do not implement regional lockout mechanisms. Ys X may be purchased on Steam anywhere in the world, regardless of the supported languages.
