Loved the game, even though it has its issues that aren't necessary to explain again after all those comments.

Combat is relatively easy, and you won’t have much trouble completing the game, even on higher difficulty settings. While it’s decent overall, it can get repetitive after a while.

The dialogue leaves much to be desired. Unlike older Dragon Age games, you're often forced into being overly supportive and positive, which feels limiting when compared to older games.

The quests tend to take you back to the same areas repeatedly, which quickly becomes tiresome. It’s reminiscent of the repetitive structure of Kirkwall in Dragon Age II.

Companion quest locations and the music are standout aspects, but the actual stories themselves feel bland and unremarkable. Emmrich and Harding’s questlines are definitely highlights, while the rest are forgettable.

The main quest has its high points throughout the game, especially with a few great final missions.

So, was it worth playing? Yes, I'd say so—especially if you've played Inquisition and the Trespasser DLC.

Possibly the worst Dragon Age game that I've unfortunately played. If you're expecting another great romp in an RPG with cool companions, and political intrigue? Play another game. This one misses on so many levels that it frustrates me to type this out. After twenty or so hours I realized my worst fears had been realized for the franchise. The people who made the game didn't actually care enough to do the previous games any sort of justice. This game is a sad sack of everyone gets along and the protagonist can do nothing wrong. I had high hopes for the game before I played it, and now I'm just left disappointed. The IP itself has taken a hit that I have zero faith in ever coming back from. Hard to believe I'm saying this but Dragon Age 2 was better than this steaming pile of crap. I'd rather play 2 or inquisition again then EVER give this game a second more of my time. 2/10 game at best.
