Controllers are doing nothing.

On the menu, in the game. No matter where I try- it's the same.
For some reason, neither my steam controller or 360 controller is being picked up by the game. I.e I cannot interact with anything whatsoever except with a mouse and keyboard.
Am I missing something? I've restarted the game quite a few times, unplugged both controllers while it was open and not, yet it will only take input from my mouse and keyboard. Why?

Check SSBD.exe.log, it should say which controllers it's recognizing.

Also a good thing to remember, If the game detects at least 1 Steam Controller, it disables the other controller APIs (Xinput, Dinput), to avoid conflicts between those and the Steam Controller API.

Alright. It does in fact recognize the steam controller. But why doesn't it work? Once launching the game, I can't even move the cursor with my controller. I can click out of the window and it'll do things, but even clicking into the window with the controller doesn't let me use the controller in game.

Hmm did it select a proper configuration automatically in the Steam Controller settings for the game?

Same problem, controller recognized, does ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in-game.

Hey, any key on the keyboard works just fine, however I am pressing all the buttons on my razer wolverine v2 (idk if its supported, should be), thanks and I really hope you can help me.

I have a Wolverine controller, and I am finding that if I start the game after having not played it for a while, I need to exit the game and then immediately restart it, and my controller works.
