Shame you're not rebalancing stealth from the sound of it. I bought the game only a few week after release (known as Jolteon ingame), so i saw it briefly rise then the long fall downwards
A name of 'HD' or HD+ isn't all that awful, makes sense compared to other games and releases. I hope you will actually also do some free weekends to bring in player, read the old forums to remind yourself of player opinion of things. Listen to them, and not yourself. These are the people that will make or break it, if general consensus amongst players is to do it, then do it.

Stealth will be changing a bit in HD+. Not entirely sure to what yet since it's still early. I've learned a lot as a game dev over the last 10 years and am muuuch more open to feedback than before. Apologies if it seemed like I wasn't listening. Wisdom takes time to acquire :-)

i've been playing this game since its release and have loved the crap out of it. i only wish more people would play it. myself personally, when it comes to changes, i love how it is now. it allows you to change your play style mid-game if needed by just switching your modules or ship type. I always enjoyed using my ship as a tank defender, but then in dire situations, i could change into a full support / healer if needed. heck my ship even had a stealth mod on it incase i needed to be sneaky (albeit super slow)... would love to help test or come up with ideas !!!

One of the few games I'll always keep around, even when clearing my old games. Keep the brilliant music, and the ability to actually travel the hyperchannels would be neat if it fits into the story. I remember first getting the game and waiting for those things to open..

Still have this installed and play it from time to time. Classes would be great! Looks forward to seeing some more info on it and fully expect to hop on as soon as its available.
