side quests seem to crash the game and make them impossible to progress

Tested on content patch 2902 (Feb 29, 2024). Starting a new game using "Inherited Data" will not allow players to proceed with the story after the tutorials. The event where you need to talk to Lisabel to start the story will not trigger game progress and you are stuck in the courtyard....

This is the current steam version. What I have tried so far: 1. I verified the installed files 2. Uninstalled and reinstalled 3. Deleted install folder and verified install again. 4. Tried these steps with local language set to English and Japanese. 5. Rebooted several times. 6. I reinstalled all the RTPS, but no other RPGM games display the same error....
