I can't click on anything

Hi folks. I simply can't do anything, the mouse does not open the door, notebook, map, nothing. Any clues? Thanks in advance.

A question

Good game but I'm curious about the mimics. When you investigate the car there is a big footprint, I should say boot print, tread and all. And I mean BIG, like a Man size 25 (unheard of). And that's OK I guess but these thing can mimic people right? So,, why leave a print so large, so obviously wrong? And why / how does it make shoe sole tread on its feet? Cause it sure can't buy shoes that big....
