ACHIEVEMENT HUNTERS BEWARE!!!
There is a single achievement that the devs obviously didn't comprehend how incredibly terrible it would be, and it will prevent you from getting 100% for this game. I've submitted a ticket, and hopefully they change this.

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM:
The game is good, but in order to 100% it, you need to get every makeshift item. While some of these can be obtained by normal means, like buying, the majority (around 70) can only be obtained by fishing. You need to fish up a chest, which is rare (wiki says 7% odds at the best location, but this REALLY seems false on my experience). Then, when you open the chest, each piece of makeshift furniture has the same odds of being inside (about 1.4% for each). You can and will get constant duplicates, once you have a bit of a collection. So, you have (despite the wiki) probably less than 5% chance to get a chest, then 1.4% chance to get the item you need, and you need to do this over and over. AI calculated that you'll need to get 665 chests to have a good chance of finishing the collection. Now, you need to fish on hotspots, which only come back every few minutes. In other words, this achievement will likely take you about 50-100 hours of doing nothing but sitting at the exact same spot, and fishing twice every couple of minutes. That is just painfully boring. Also, I honestly think my math is wrong here, and it's even worse than this. This is because I've gotten about 20 chests so far, and I've sat here AFK and fishing now and then when there's hotspots, for literally hours, and I've only gotten 20. Considering I need to multiply that by about 30, I'd say it's probably more like a few hundred hours, doing nothing but fishing the exact same spot. Horrible, horrible design for an achievement.

There are quite a few ways the devs could have made this not a problem, and hopefully they fix it in the future. However, considering they keep putting out paid cosmetics, rather than fixing bugs, I don't have high hopes that they'll fix this... Here's hoping though!

HOW THIS COULD BE FIXED:
1) Each new waterlogged chest could contain the RECIPE for a new makeshift item. This way, you would never get a double, because the game would check "does player have this recipe? Then give another one". This would also allow people to actually do what they want with the stuff they get, for example having four chairs around a table or something. This would make the achievement MUCH more manageable.
2) Another option, have a type of lure or bobber that guarantees every catch will be a waterlogged chest. The lure/bobber could be expensive, that's fine, but at least this would make the achievement much more manageable. I would far prefer the first option where you get recipes, though.
3. Have EVERY makeshift item be obtainable by some other means, like buying from the blackmarket, or trading for tokens, or whatever.
4) Just have the achievement be for 10, or 20 makeshift items, rather than all 76 of them.

1. Reinstalled the Game (5 times)
Uninstalled and reinstalled Palia to fix any installation issues.
2. Changed Game Settings
Modified settings in the GameUserSettings.ini file, including:
Resolution and fullscreen mode adjustments.
Setting changes for accessibility, graphics, audio, and input.
3. Tried Launching in Windowed Mode
Edited settings to enable windowed mode instead of fullscreen to troubleshoot display issues.
4. Checked for Hardware/Driver Issues
No hardware issues found, but you ensured your graphics drivers and system specs are up-to-date.
5. Disabled Overlays
Disabled Steam Overlay.
Disabled third-party overlays (Discord, Nvidia, etc.).
6. Closed Background Applications
Disabled unnecessary background applications using Task Manager.
7. Tried a Clean Boot
Performed a clean boot to eliminate possible conflicts from other software.
8. Attempted Different User Profile
Created a new user profile on your PC and tested the game under that profile.
9. Adjusted Compatibility Settings
Tried running the game in compatibility mode for older versions of Windows.
10. Tried Launching the Game After Disabling Antivirus/Firewall
Temporarily disabled antivirus/firewall to rule out interference.
11. Checked for System Errors
Used tools to check for RAM or other hardware issues (like MemTest86).
12. Reached Out to Support
Reached out to game developers or community forums for assistance

So good! Especially the mahjong game. So awesome that its free to play and doesn't force you to spend money at all. I stopped because there weren't many quests to keep me going, so more quests, please!
