In "ancient times" i got this game in a german classic disc collection. That version included a very helpful in-game strategy guide, with dungeon maps and everything. It extended/replaced the ingame help menu. I do not know if that guide was available in any language besides german. The GoG version does not include this guide. I know it's unlikely, but does the steam version have it?...

Cause that's what GOG's for. Seriously - why would I buy an old game like that on steam? The steam copy protection will only make problems as soon as you need to do some troubleshooting which you almost always need to do for old games like this. Do you really have to piss on GOG territory, steam, just for the sake of it? Only thing it does is to obfuscate the front page so you overlook the actual new games....

Hi All, i had this game back when it first came out but never completed it as just got stuck in the hive. i played it again a while back on a free website but it always crashed just before i went to fight the demon in the mine and if i ignored that it then crashed after i had rescued the mage from the castle. Have people completed this version or will i spend ages getting to the stage and it just crashes again. i need to complete this before i die! haha...

Played the game about 20 years ago and really loved it. Wanted to relive the experience and quickly discovered the class and skill system is quite vast and I cannot remember how I made my party back then. I probably just went with the one you start with. However now as an adult I am really into min maxing stuff and therefore making OP parties that will slice through everything (like in baldurs gate).
