When I play Malevolence on my Alienware laptop, I hear virtual surround sound with the sound effects in the game. Does Malevolence have virtual surround sound programmed into it or is it probably the software on my laptop simulating surround sound?

Heyho! I am just wondering if the final state of the game has been reached. If I remember correctly an expansion was originally planned. But seeing that this forum is pretty much dead and same seems to be the case for the forums in the developers webpage, I guess there is nothing going to happen anymore? I also asked on facebook.
