I was mid on this till I went back and tried to play the first one~ the amount of creativity the game affords you is worth half the price tag, and the responsiveness and care the devs are taking with updates are filling in the second half. I really do think its premature release was the product of greedy shareholders, because where the game is now is release worthy, and they're still patching in new content/bug fixes. This is the good outcome of the CS2 conundrum :3

After a few much needed updates it's definitely in a more playable spot. With restaurants coming in April the game is getting a pretty nice upgrade but there are still some things that are probably pie in the sky but I'd love to see them implemented. [YAP WARNING]

BUILDING
- Mirror tool ofc. Maybe have it only function inside building groups.
- Added functionality for building round buildings, I'm tired of rotating 'Resort Balcony - Pillar 1'.
- A degree indicator for the advanced rotation gizmo.
- A way to more finely move objects.
- Fence draw tool, snapping together the in-game fences is great and all but it'd be nice to have a way to quickly draw a line for fences, similar to the path draw tool.
- The ability to take the grid pieces off-grid, would majorly reduce piece count for a lot of builds.
- An option to rotate selection around last the selected object.
- Option to select all similar items in a group. (e.g selecting all the planks so they can be quickly recolored)

PATHS
- Path edge subdivision, to get cleaner joins on rounded/circular paths.
- Lower height limit for paths over pools.
- Grid queues, or even just functionality to draw out a box and have the game fill it with a cattle pen style queues.
- Invisible paths.
- A fix to how the first person camera behaves around paths that have been rounded with the rounding tool. Currently the camera gets caught on invisible corners.

VISUAL
- Water blocks that have a little more watery texture.
- A filter to find FX objects since they're SO tiny.
- Asphalt/Pavement textures, save these poor souls who burnout from building colossal parking lots.
- Edits to some of the object origin points (the square wood beams still have offset origin points that make them hard to manipulate,
- More dynamic weather lighting. The lighting in the game is beautiful but feels lacking when switching to cloudy/rainy days. Maybe soften the lighting when it's raining to replicate the over cast look or add cloud gobos to cloudy days to get that nice clouds rolling across the landscape visual.

MISC
- Map editor, the terrain tools are great but something more robust would be greatly appreciated. As it stands making large edits to the map to get islands, lakes or sizeable variations in topography takes a little too long imo.

I haven't listed all these as absolute must haves but they're just the things I've thought about in my playtime since November. It's come a long way since then and here's hoping they continue this upward trend.

Definitely worth a buy if you want a very detailed diorama builder.
