I don't know what's going on, but I've tried absolutely every trick mentioned on the discussion boards, and this game consistently crashes after operation gatecrasher. Verifying files, borderless windowed mode, vsync disabled, using the mod launcher, compatibility mode, run as admin, etc etc ad nauseam. Can't get the game to run. Are there any further solutions? Running this on windows 10 (Using Windows 8 Compatibility)...

Some missions are just designed to fail, the combination of the turn limit and the suddenly discovered enemies is just there to make you fail, no matter how well you actually play the game. It is designed to fail, no matter the skill, you will fail, because you are meant to....

With the discount, is the game worth it? Mostly modded to fix the issues the base game has? Or does it need the DLC to work better?

Id like to play iron man to get the achievement and did try this on legendary on release but failed. I did complete legendary but save scummed the hell out of it. How is commander + ironman?

Do Sectopods appear in August no matter what you do? My first August Guerilla Ops had a Savage sitrep that said many beast enemies were there. You had Berserkers, Faceless, Chryssalids, and Stun Lancers. But then there was a giant Sectopod and it crushed my honestrun because I wasn't prepared for it. I know that this is a prime example of "That's XCOM!" and I shouldn't be surprised. But if a sitrep normally limits the enemies you see by allowing certain types, how does a Sectopod work? Even the wiki menti...
