I find the universe and gameplay quite interesting. I think more can be added in a sequel to this one.
I mean, I find it awesome how this game managed to create a certain atmosphere and lore with what's really only a couple conversations.

This was one cloud with some precious resource, and the fifth faction now has that resource AND the technologies of those factions in the cloud. Imagine what they can build. Glitching breacher grenade launchers that teleport and explode? Heck yes.

Imagine that these Drifters go to war against Sovereign?

Glitchers are seemingly also able to "hack reality" with their tech. Imagine if the original Glitcher faction, which has further developed their stuff, goes too far and some extradimensional beings (as currently the factions are all human), arrive from the rifts in reality, resulting in the three remaining factions (Drifters, Glitchers, and Sovereign) to have a common enemy?

Plenty of stories that can be told after these events in the Drift.
The gameplay could remain largely the same, with some additional tweaks and even more difficult challenges and security measures to bypass.

This seems like it would be an expansion or update, rather than a sequel, given how you say the mechanics should be much the same.

This thread is from march. To "necro" a thread is short for "necromancing" aka bringing it back from the dead. Usually looked down upon. im kinda meh about it

It's just from March. I have posts that I've had to unsubscribe from and when I made I was in college back in like 2010.

It's just from March. I have posts that I've had to unsubscribe from and when I made I was in college back in like 2010.

There's a difference between "was made years ago but still active" and "nobody has said anything on it in a month or two"
