Braid
"Braid is no longer available on the Steam store"
Any reason why? I mean, I can get that, say, Ubisoft do it because they are not a user-friendly company that sticks their DRM into everything before and instead of thinking, but why remove an indie game from the store?

It doesn't come with the original, you would have to check out keystores for that or pirate it (after buying the remaster preferably).

I don't really get why devs don't bundle the original with the remaster but I get why they don't sell it anymore. Why buy the slightly better new version where there is a cheaper option that's almost as good?

Thank you for the information, though I fail to understand the causality. There are aspects of the original game one might prefer over the remaster, unless the original game is included in the remaster as a separate application (i.e.an extra copy), rather than a visual toggle within the same game, and the new players might want to try the more affordable and short (though, the commentary, I assume, is optional and skippable?) original game.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
