Playing "Glitch Daddy" feels like diving headfirst into a Lynchian fever dream and I mean that in the best possible way.

From the moment the game begins, it wraps you in surrealistic imagery that feels equal parts haunting and mesmerizing.

The gameplay is mostly linear, although some of the levels offer a chance for a little exploration and the puzzles are pretty intuitive. What surprised me the most though weren’t the visuals as I would imagine, which are trippy and unique but the atmospheric and amazing soundtrack which not only complemented but even elevated the experience.

The dreamy narrative dances between absurdity and poignancy, exploring themes of forgiveness and guilt, fear of failure and the never-ending compulsion to correct our mistakes, leaving us- the player balancing on the edge of understanding, just as the characters within the game seem to be. It’s strange, unsettling, surprising funny, and, at times, deeply moving, a rare example of a game that trusts its audience to lean into the ambiguity and find meaning in the chaos.

I can’t wait to see what this developer has in store next, because if "Glitch Daddy" is any indication, their imagination knows no bounds.
