- Some kind of visual variation in the background grid pattern to assist with aligning blocks that are far away. For example, every tenth row has a slightly different colour separating the squares.
- Ability to zoom out even further
- Remove the max size on the "Demolish" area. so you can clear much bigger areas at once
- Hotkey to snap to the center of the board--it's easy to get lost!
- If possible, zoom out even further
- Multiple saved shapes to clipboard (so can have a library of common shapes mapped to hotkeys)
- If possible/not unreasonable--have the ability to lay multiple parallel belts at once (e.g. hotkey so that you're laying down 3 belts at a time)
There is a button in the top-right, the square icon, which returns you to the hub. The shortcut to use it is H. You can see the keyboard shortcuts by pausing with Esc, then go to options > controls.
The things you've copied stay in your clipboard. While pasting, use shift + scroll wheel to change between them all. (As explained by the text in the top-right when in paste mode.) I find when they're common, I usually have them on the map already so if they're not already in the clipboard I can copy from the map.
For multi-lane belts, I copy a row of them. Then paste and drag. (When in paste mode you can click to place one instance. Or click and drag to paste many in a line.)
- Hold a key to show crosshairs to the mouse that span the width and height of the screen--for easier lining up of belts even at a distance.
