This is the best adventure / first person platforming game I've ever played. It's labrynthian environment has its own rules and logic and letting yourself succumb to it is the only way to progress.There's environmental storytelling but just enough to make you ask questions and never enough to give you answers and yet I'm not upset at this. It's a true masterwork of art and design and deserving of a play by anyone who appreciates getting to transform a space into a place.

It's insanity that I've owned this game for almost ten years and haven't reviewed it. It's an incredible game. I think it's held back a bit by its weird sprint mechanics and the sequence at the end of the game, but otherwise it's such an incredible experience.

The premise is far more interesting than the gameplay. And in the end I wound up bored instead of thrilled to explore an endless city.
