SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure - PC Release Delayed

Hello everyone, it’s Jay again.

It’s really unfortunate, but we have to push our PC release back by another month to tidy up a couple of things.

As a producer, I’m quite embarassed to be delaying a product twice, but after seeing how encouraging and supportive everyone was from the previous delay post, we want to work even harder to release the game in a better state. We seek your understanding.

On behalf of the team, I’d like to sincerely apologise for the second delay.

On the brighter side, do stay tuned to announcements regarding new languages that will be added into the game, as well as our planned release for consoles!

With that being said, SEDAP! will finally be out on Steam in late May, so please stay tuned!

SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure - New PC Release Date!

Hello everyone, this is Jay from kopiforge.

We've made the tough decision to delay SEDAP!’s PC release by a month.

As a first-time game studio, we're constantly learning through trial and error, overcoming challenges, and growing from every setback along the way.

Online multiplayer has been a behemoth for us to implement, consisting of multiple unknown forces that took huge portions of our development time to tackle. This resulted in an extremely unhealthy crunch for our developers. Despite this, we knew that online multiplayer was important to our players, so we pushed through.

Thankfully, now that we have the support of a publisher, we have the means to prioritise our health and take more time to work on the game.

In the meantime, as part of Steam Next Fest, we’ve just released online multiplayer in our free demo — so grab a friend and check it out!

As always, thank you for your support and understanding.

And with that, please look forward to our new release date for PC: 22 April 2025!

Our Demo Experience

Hello, This demo was very cute as a proof of concept. We noticed a few things that seemed a little bothersome. -The ability to catch up to the ginger is *awful*. Even if it does only have 2 bars of HP, it was such a pain to chase even with dashing due to the small swing range. -To that end... consider having a more extended hit range on the weapon hits maybe? If possible a combo would be cool. -We felt it was limited by the concept of the three-star progression. I mean, we got 3 stars on most of our fi...

Classic screen split option?

It is absolutely an amazing game for which I would like to pay full price (which I rarely do!). However, I do have a question for devs: will you be considering adding an option for classic screen split? I do really appreciate the effort you make to apply this new screen split technique, but some players will prefer the classic one if any....

Motion sickness from the loading screen / main menu

A valuable addition would be an option to slow down or stop the movement of the world around the card in the main menu and during loading as it makes some people dizzy and feel motion sickness. Otherwise, great game :)

Love the unique Malay vibe

I love the Malay/South East Asian vibe to this in terms of art, music, and cuisine, as it sets it apart from so many other cooking games out there. However, to me the game feels very fast paced, even from the intro. I had a hard time keeping up. Of course, it might just be that this isn't a game for me. I do wish the devs the best....
