I've been making really slow progress and it's making me feel discouraged. I wanna built a decent base but can't find any blueprints for the bigger rooms, how do I make this process easier?

So, started a fresh game. Got to the supposed Delgasi site at 250m. Explored and found a PDA stating that there is another site. Isn't that PDA SUPPOSED to highlight the 500m base? What it did, instead, was give me ANOTHER add-on for the 250m base. As in, I now have 2 entries for the SAME base. It's also been so long since I played last that I don't even remember where the 500m base is any longer. I know Google will help me out but is what I experienced a bug? Don't remember this ever happening before....

I accidentally stumbled across an island with an alien base on it but now can't find it. I'm sure I was sent coordinates but can't find them. Can anyone tell me where it is, I am sure it wasn't far from the Aurora crash site.
