Are Gas Stones supposed to insta-kill during Nightmare Mode , when dropping from Green Crystals in Strange Crystal Caves ? If two drop from the same Crystal , they hit up to four times before any chance to react, for easily more health than a Level 7 Wizard has. I get that Nightmare Mode is supposed to be hard, but this seems excessive. I've lost several promising runs this way. YASD has its limits. Not fun to have...

Quite lucky... In the crystal caves, I accidentally hit a giant orange crystal and was teleported far below, separating me from my pets. Trying to get back, I killed a giant purple crystal, it dropped two power stones. They were too far to pick up, became active, and blocked my exit. im wondering about this tip a lot. i started looking into an alternative way of identifying scrolls other than just noticing which scrolls you find the most or identifying prices based on charisma i read that when you throw a scroll of fire, the enemy takes a small amount of damage unlike any other scrolls. it also instantly kills enemies with weaknesses to fire, like the gas spore. i remember experiencing the small damage thing, so im gonna write that one off as true. so that way you know which scroll is...
