Last time I played this game was in 2016, now i come back talking about pirate games to a friend and see tons of recently added bad reviews, and I'm confussed, i thought the game was finished back then?

Since it seems Pixel Piracy is being worked on my "2 cents" regarding some quality-of-life changes, not mentioning bugs or complete overhauls since that’s a different thing. So I put many hours in this game as a time filler, until I discovered the aim of the game isn't to beat the pirate lords but to commit suic1de? I am sorry WHAT? To reach full steam completion status, players are required to effectively take their entire crew to a special island for a murd3r-suic1de plot. Clearly this is not discussed much or the game would have a much more severe rating, or be banned outright in most countries. For goodness sake you cant even DISCUSS this objective or steam blocks or cen...

Last time I played was back in like.. 2016 (I think). It just got slower and slower until I had to restart every 10 minutes to make it barely playable and I gave up. I know some dev work was done semi-recently, has this been slightly fixed or is it a baked in problem? P.s If anybody knows what causes it, that could help too so I can avoid it....
