I got sent back to the part before I have to manipulate the huge beams (not the beams of light), the huge beams so I can hop from one to the other.

I'm afraid I still don't understand where you are. The best thing would be to take a screenshot so I can understand what you mean and what's stopping you from progressing.

I align beams of light. There are 2 hanging balls in the room that swing. There is a gap that you cannot cross. At the bottom is a circular platform leading to a door. How do you open the door ?

Ah I see. The platform before the door is the key. You will notice it when you run over it. If you want the answer let me know!

I ran over. I jumped on it, I hit the shift key. Maybe not the best at these puzzles, just helping beta test.

I did that =) As I wrote I stood on it (does my character not have weight?), I jumped on it, I even made these rock things come out of it. What am I missing ? You can put your answer in spoiler tags

As mentioned, the platform is a pressure plate. You have to put weight on it for it to be pressed completely. Your character doesn't have enough weight to do that. You will have to use objects. After the plate is pressed the door to continue will open up.

Kiki =) If my character does not have enough weight then the plate should not depress when I stand on it or the door should open slightly when I stand on the plate giving me an indicator that I need more weight.

the pressure plate is not connected to the door in terms of how much pressure = how much it opens. Once the pressure hits the bottom it works like a button, the door opens completely. the reason why your body creates the bounce is because your body does have weight. It also tells you that that platform is a pressure plate.

5 issues.

1) When you break the verical beams with the balls they always dont make a noise.

2) The broken vertical beams I see you need for the pressure plate but originally when I first did this, not knowing what was ahead or that I would need a piece for the pressure plate, you allow me to throw all the pieces into the abyss. That is why I did not know what to to do when I first arrived on the pressure plate. I had thrown away all the pieces and had nothing left to be put on the plate so I just stood on it and jumped up and down =)

3) It turns out I can slip of fthe edge also in this room and there is a death screen so to speak but you just respawn me with no penalty so why the death screen? or why allow me to slip off the edge to start with ?

4) When I activate the pressure plate I am standing next to it but after the cut scene I am reset to where I came into the room.

2) THere are regrowable crystals around that you can also use in case this happens

3) In the game death is not a penalty but instead a measure for the final leaderboard and scores which you are able to see at the end of each chapter/level

4) I'm not sure what you mean here, which cutscene?

5) I don't see the bug in the picture, it rather looks like you are standing on the mechanism's sails that come up once you put pressure on the plate
