Where's the online?

When I first saw this game I was really excited for a cool new adventure with fun magic mechanics, and I wasn't entirley dissapointed. The gameplay holds up, the magic feels cool, and the story was unexpectedly pleasant, however there is one let down. when I saw the initial trailer, they made the multiplayer seem like a big thing, and I got really excited for some epic online versus matches. Much to my dissapointment, when I looked into the multiplayer servers I found nothing, and I mean NOTHING. I thought there would be more people like me wanting to play with other people, but apparently not. C'mon guys, lets get some servers goin! I'm dying to see what the multiplayer is like and I have no friends that want to do local co-op. This game deserves better!

That's the fate of most of the indie games with MP. Son of Nor is also not very known. There is/was nearly zero coverage of Son of Nor anywhere.

Should we create a sticky thread that is dedicated to players sharing their local time zones and when they want to play? I think it would sound like a good idea. Let me know if you want this arranged and I'll create one.

Actually we have lot's of reviewers on YouTube and other well known gaming sites that have been giving this game a review. If you have a Facebook page, you can look for the Still Alive Studios page and they share everything that the community posts about Son of Nor.

We also retweet what the community shares about Son of Nor on our Viva Media page on Twitter as well :)

I'm also willing to help out with community organization. We need to have frequent gaming sessions with random online buddies - not only with real life friends! The MP "deserves better" as JasterPax said! :)

I have just created a sticky at the top of the forum which everyone can use to post and arrange online meetups for multiplayer. Hope this helps.

Kinda sad, game looks epic, would love to play. But no online kind of turns me off. Also only saw this cause I go through my Steam que a lot :/

Have you heard about the event of online play with the developers? If not now is a good time to read it. Go to the announcements section or the store page to read more about it.

Been studying this for age's on IndieDb.
On the fence about purchase for now. Hoping for good co-op game, but I see little positive results regarding that aspect.

@jetcutter there are some users that have played the game co-op, you might want to get feedback from them. twitch*Jemobulas is one of them! he will even join us on playing with the devs on friday :)

yea i bought the game thinking what a good concept i realy wanted to get in to the mp to find it dose not exsist as a result i have racked up as little as 20 mins game play and am a little disapointed
