I need Demon Siege remastered more than Samurai's Destiny. It's better if they work on both of them at once.
I mean, I've never played any Onimusha... but shouldn't it stick to what made the series successful? Whatever Onimusha is, it should stay Onimusha.
Exactly that
Taking a break of two decades doesn't necessarily means the series was performing poorly. It could simply be that Capcom lost interest in making those games, none of their directors were interested in making a new game or they didn't have any ideas where to take the franchise next.
The theme of Onimusha itself doesn't leave a lot of room for expanding. It's too specific in time period and location. While Resident Evil can go anywhere.
Like Dragon's Dogma are the example of bad initial sales but the after sales keep coming so they released a sequel in 12 years, because the initial sales were not good.
Same goes with Onimusha series, the sales is not good enough for CAPCOM so they shelves it until now, same goes with Dino Crisis, and any other sleeping franchise from CAPCOM.
They are a company remember? They loves money, they don't make games for us, they make games for money.
I implore u to stop asking for everything to be homogeneous, therefore, boring
the last souls game came out 10yrs ago...move on

Let Onimusha feel like Onimusha.
No not really, market is allready over saturated with "soulslike" and ♥♥♥♥ following what's "trending", we need more authentic IP's like onimusha. Soulslike games can suck a ♥♥♥♥♥.
