Hotfix Update v1.0.6.0

New quality of life improvements, fan requests, and bug fixes are LIVE to enhance your Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit experience.

Here's what's new:

Bug Fixes:

Fixed getting stuck in the Under Oswald's Bed minigame
Resolved Chica getting stuck by doors
Fixed buttons appearing as white boxes
Prevented Freddy from being visible during minigames
Fixed the window escape QTE in Oswald's room
Addressed getting stuck in the vent after calling Mom on Night 5
Removed duplicate recording dots from the CCTV UI
Fixed getting stuck when using the wrong item for the Party Room door
Prevented getting stuck if Oswald is caught while using a door
Enabled the Speedrun Timer from the Main Menu
Corrected Steam achievement display issues
Allowed interaction with Jinx after reloading a saved file

We're also working on:

More languages on the way
Minigame tutorial improvements
Additional bug fixes!

Console Update:

Console players! We are approved with all patches in all regions for console release and also have a final date approved by the Scottgames team to go live. As soon as we have approval to share the date, we will make an announcement! We are doing everything we can to give all console players the best version of the game possible on console launch day, including all fan requests, bug fixes, and quality-of-life updates. All consoles will also launch in all regions on the same day.

Pepperoni pals! We've got one last hotfix rolling out for you before the weekend hits! Thank you all so much for your patience and love during this launch, and we'll be continuing to roll out more improvements and fixes next week.

This update is now live on our public beta branch. You can opt in by following the instructions in the video attached below. The fix will also be rolled out to the default branch once it’s confirmed to be stable.

Fixed Blockers:

Fixed being unable to open pause menu to call mom

Other improvements:

Fixed rare endless scroll on main menu
Fixed some items missing in the Extras menu
Fixed black screen when opening the inventory after jumping Into the Pit
Hotfix v1.0.1.0 fixed this issue when opening the map
Fixed Extras Menu Inventory not showing highlights properly
Fixed Chica's Scream SFX missing after pausing the game for several seconds
Fixed Sketchbook inventory description being incorrect
Pause Menu now auto-scrolls when holding up/down buttons
Going back from New Game to Main Menu now highlights the expected button
Fixed some text not being affected by Dyslexic accessibility
Fixed phone button staying highlighted after calling Mom
Fixed some text overflowing in some languages and font settings
Fixed dyslexic font reverting to default when returning to the title screen

We're back again today with another speedy delivery of fixes for everyone! We're hard at work preparing frequent and fast updates to the beta branch especially, so keep an eye out for even more fixes to come. Check out the list of changes and improvements below:

This update is now live on our public beta branch. You can opt in by following the instructions in the video attached below. The fix will also be rolled out to the default branch once it’s confirmed to be stable.

Fixed Blockers:

Exiting the camera after the jumpscare causes Oswald to disappear

Other improvements:

Fixed Yellow Rabbit's eyes sometimes not glowing blue
Fixed scrolling delay on the Alternative Music UI
Credits can now be manually scrolled with the up/down keys
Improved consistency with ending cinematic achievement timings
Fixed No Battery UI not reappearing after cinematics
Fixed some sliders responding to more inputs than intended
Improved UI spacing in SkeeBall in some languages
Fixed Terrified Kid's sprite appearing too soon
Fixed Speedrun Timer settings not resetting to off
Fixed Battery Obtained SFX still playing in subsequent interactions

Hey there, pizza lovers! Thank you so much for keeping us informed about the bugs you encounter. We've been actively listening to your feedback and reports, and have prepared a hotfix at lightning speed to address some of the more urgent issues! We'll be continuing to work on more updates regarding known issues, so if your issue is not listed here feel free to bring it to our attention in the comments!

Fixed Blockers:

Fixed Night 5 blocker where girl wouldn't spawn in the party room
Fixed Oswald sometimes getting stuck on the kitchen door
Fixed Oswald movement stopping when Freddy and Bonnie both use the door
Fixed black screen when opening the map after jumping Into the Pit
We have found that the inventory key still causes this issue
Fixed hints not closing when they appear while Oswald is near a door
Fixed input not working when retrying a Door QTE after being previously caught

Other improvements:

Fixed Issue Reporting Tool not being clickable in some minigames
Reduced dialogue box opacity
Improved several translations
Updated Objective SFX
Fixed the Store Page's French localization!
