I have a 2560x1440 monitor, I set that resolution in options, but in the menus and in game everything looks 1080P at best, in fact more like 720P. It definitely doesn't look like native and makes me not want to play it. I tried restarting the game after setting resolution and that didn't help.

Building order is very awkward. Construction priority doesn't ever seem to switch the priorities of builders with existing tasks, which is not cool when you're placing down many construction orders for build planning, but with a specific need to complete them in an order.

Running out of resources also messes up builders. It's like the builders are given an order to build exactly one building at a time, and if they can't complete that building for any reason, they'll sit around in the builder hut (literally, doing their idle motion, but with 'Working..' status) even if other building tasks are still doable. Cancelling every building but the one you need built will let them continue doing their thing.

I have reinstalled it twice and cannot start the game at all.

installed, tried to play, says needs you to install some software to play, click to accept, it installs says successful, returns to steam, click play, asks to install software and continue to repeat from the beginning, unable to ever play the game.

I made first tutorial but i did not get achiv on steam (but I got in the game). Any suggestions why?

The steam achievement for beating the first tutorial won't pop

Button graphics are not aligned with their clickable areas. I need to click above and to the right of a button in order to make it respond. This affected the buttons in the intro that played before title screen and in all tutorial dialogs. It didn't seem to happen when I looked at idle penguins, but then the tutorial told me to build something and I couldn't click the build button and I gave up.

Alarmingly, it also happened in the "are you sure you want to quit?" dialog, and it was pretty hard to find the right place to click to actually get out of the game!

I assume this must not be happening to everyone or else everyone would be complaining about it, but I don't know what would be special about me to cause a bug like this. Windows 11, desktop resolution 2560x1440, all game settings at default.

That's great to hear that it worked after choosing the correct resolution from the Options Menu (Video-Resolution).

When I built the builders hut, the window that enables me to add workers is way off the right of my screen therefore unplayable. Nice idea but if I have to fiddle around with video settings or "update my video drivers" then this is a no go for me.

Now I've changed to Windowed and 1920x1001 (I think that was automatic as I changed it to something else first) all seems to be OK now. I've played the tutorial and started playing a game and it seems great! Thanks for the support, I appreciate the personal help.
