Hey!

It's been a little over a week since our demo launch, and I'm having a blast seeing your gameplay and hearing your feedback on the demo.

While we keep working on the Early Access version, the demo will be updated to fix major bugs, but for this small patch I also made some small balance changes that should make the limited experience with the demo a bit better!

Balance changes:

[Class] Mercenary: Gives 1 gold instead of 2 at the end of each combat
[Relic] Honor Medal: Now is Rare instead of Epic
[Minion] Kraken: Now is Legendary instead of Epic

Bug fixes:

Fixed a bug that made it impossible to choose a new Relic after restarting a run

About the game:

Guild of Rogues mixes the strategy of roguelike deckbuilding with the fun and casual nature of autobattlers, creating a rich and deep experience! It's a game for everyone, with mechanics that start off simple and approachable, that get more complex as you unlock new classes, minions and relics with crazy effects and synergies!

Defeat all enemies!

At the start of each battle, both enemies and minions will be placed on the board to fight automatically. Your minions will make their basic Attacks and activate their Skills to try and defeat all enemies before their turn counter reaches 0!

Build your team!

With hundreds of different minions and relics, after each turn you will have to strategically choose which option is the best one, considering synergies and what your team is lacking. As you progress in the game, you will unlock even more options to create the best mercenary team possible!

Create synergies!

In order to win, you will have to create a very strong team that works well together. For example, the pirates are great at gaining more gold, and the legendary Black Beard will fire all Cannons, repeating for every 10 gold you have! Or, maybe, just let the Kraken eat all of your pirates, and grab some Undead minions that trigger their effects when a minion is removed.
