Location of Save Game files?

Hey all, digging Pixel Boy! I'm trying to find the location of the save game files so I can play the game from my portable hard drive. (they're not in the game directory...)

It plays just fine from the portable HD, but when I play the game from it at home, it grabs my home game save, not the one from work.

Thanks for any pointers.

Found it! They bury it in your registry file (Windows).

Just backup this folder (right-click 'export') and you have a backup of your game save.

i cant find it i looked in a ll C: maps such as Program Files (x86) and Program Files but cant find Giant Box games haaaalp

It's in the Windows Registry file and it doesn't look like you can actually change anything. You can only backup your saves. If you're not familiar with editing the Windows Registry, then be very careful in there! Hit your Window's key and type in regedit.exe. Run regedit.exe and search for Pixel Boy. You'll see the folder I show above. Right click and select Export to save a backup (after you're quit out of the game). Double-click on the exported file to re-load that save (over-writing the current save).

Kind of unusual to see a game write the whole save file in the registry and really not very nice. I'd like to see it in an external file somewhere. Even if it was complied to prevent editing, but putting a save file in the registry is a no-no.

I think this has been changed, just went through every inch of the registry and the Giant Box Games folder isnt showing up. Do you by chance know of how this was updated?
