v0.72.6 - Addressing the Free Look Clunkiness

We hear you loud and clear! Why do the Free Look controls feel so unresponsive???

In this patch we are greatly improving the turn speed at low speeds when using Free Look. This control scheme is still being improved over time, and this is the first of those improvements.

If it still feels bad, tell us why!

Turn rate at slow speeds using Free Look controls is greatly enhanced, to better resemble a modern 3rd person control scheme

v0.72.5 - Dash Talent Buffs & Minor Stat Balancing

Fixes

Fixed various map collision issues

Adjustments

'D-Style Sacrifice' talent dash amplification has been boosted 4x
'Triple P-Dash SP Master' has been changed to 'Perfect Dash SP Master' which gives you 10% of your Style Points bar per Perfect Dash
Strength combo amplifiers have been buffed
Max Booster sprint speed (Speed stat effect) upper and lower range has been widened
Sprint Speed (Speed stat effect) received a minor reduction at the top end to accommodate for the widened Max Booster sprint speed adjustment
Skill animation speed (Technique stat effect) on the low end has been boosted
Grind speed (Agility stat effect) upper end has been reduced

If you had selected Free Look as your default control scheme, Air Tricks would not work until a rebind reset, this should now be fixed

v0.72.3 - Hotfixes & Key Redemption!

New Features

Keys can now be redeemed using the Shop button in the main menu
First time plays will now get popups introducing them to certain features of the game
Popups UI visual improvements
Added a new song to the apartment room
Hovering over cosmetics in the locker will now show a tooltip saying "Drag Me"
Trying to login with an unverified account will now show a prompt offering a new verification email request
Pressing the Exit button in the main menu will now show a popup asking you to confirm shutting the game down

Fixes

Fixed certain cosmetics had glitchy physics (introduced in v0.72.2)
Fixed animation issues with the jump
Fixed loadout stats showing the wrong values on the sliders
Fixed pressing ESC to leave the Locker would not work properly
Fixed music would increase in volume when you exited the game (UI SFX will still increase - patch pending)

Disabled HQ Player VFX due to instability

Servers Now Open! - Go And Login!

Servers are now open!!!

This marks our 3rd multiplayer playtest for FreeJack Online!

We've got loads of new content for you to try out, such as talents, trick updates and perfect dashes.

You'll also be able to immerse yourselves in the brand new visual update!

You'll find the full list of updates in the news tab in the main menu or on the latest patch notes on the Steam page.

Servers close in 2 weeks on Monday 3rd June

Fixed an issue where a high FPS could cause the parkour animation to lose the correct rotation

A notification sound will now play if the host changes the room settings and you are forced to 'Unready'

Known Issues

Steam invites are currently not working
If the host leaves during a race, the end game standings will show everybody twice as retired
If a player fails to send the correct position during a race they will show up as first and their race marker may go off the end of the race progress UI (The end game standings are unaffected)
Lobby Loadout sliders may not show the character's current stats correctly, the actual stats are unaffected until the Save button is pressed

Moved Ghost Trail Max Booster Effect to 'HQ Player VFX (Experimental)' and disabled Motion Blur by default.
Pole climb entry transition was improved.
Wooden Tree Top Walkway on Mr Rollercoaster had it's inner fence collisions improved.
Minor character select optimisations.

Known Issues

Race start isn't always synchronised across the network.
Training room may occasionally desync under load.
