Probably the worst shadowdrop post launch of a game I have ever seen in my life. One of the worst running games of all time filled with crashes, bugs and glitches that cant even run smoothly on a 5090 and 9800X3D system. By far the biggest exit scam and perhaps the scummiest way to feed off the bethesda sheep's nostalgia of a beloved game that was already heavily ridiculed with bugs and performance issues. Maybe the sheep are just used to slop that they have become numb to UE5 AI-generated slop too...

It doesn't need fixing for me, runs fine on a 5070Ti, so no idea what is going wrong for you. Also ran fine on my previous card, which was a 4060Ti.

Also rather unfair to claim there are "no foundations" considering the remaster is literally built on the original game. OG definitely had bugs and glitches too, played it myself from day 1, this one is actually more stable for me.

You are obviously angry, but insulting all buyers/players of the game by calling them sheep is inappropriate and against Steam regulations.

If its broken for you : qq, your fault.
If its running : great.
If its boring: No you are!

Assume you meant Ultra is UN necessary? Good point, I did a lot of messing to start with to find the best mix for performance and visual quality. Some of the settings don't improve either when they should, and the game doesn't seem to automatically choose the best preset to suit hardware either. Yes, Hardware RT is ridiculous and needs to be knocked on the head, doing so makes a big difference to fps. There is even a mod on Nexus to disable it altogether, which is not possible in game settings.

Wait something is wrong with the game? I haven't noticed anything really except maybe for enemies chasing me for too long before I can drop back into stealth.

OOOOHHH you mean your rig isn't not up to par. I'm on a 13k series intel and using a 4070 with 64GB of DDR5 and an SSD.

Literally 165fps at 165 refresh rate and vsync at almost max settings. ZERO issues.

Until people post what specs and what they've done in attempts to try to fix things I'm gonna assume they're haters just here for points.

They did fix 2 major problem. That is................

1)giant jyggalag head crash
2)double arrow paralyze crash

Although I not sure about other people problem. Aside them whining about FPS drop. That basically lag. They always screaming shutter. From what I read of shutter definition it tell me complete difference things from what user saying.

Also there other user complain that they can't can't play this game at all.

You should absolutely have to fine tune a game based on an individual system. Given the near infinite combinations of hardware components, it's impossible to write a game otherwise.

Not really. Literally every single game before the Unreal-Engine-5-Epidemic used to allow people to set their game to either the low, medium, high or ultra preset and play the game without an issue. Now you have to literally have to go through every setting, all 20+ settings and test which one works fine (e.g... Textures-high, Fog-low, LOD-high, SSR-med).

Also the mandatory ray tracing is turning away countless players because the developers casn't be asked to set up their raster lighting/shadows by themselves. My 5090 can handle it but i would 100% go for the rasterised lighting for the extra performance.

Don't forget the necessary mods in order to fix UE5 built in bs.

Game consoles were designed to cater to people that couldn't master tuning their computers. Anyone that can't be bothered with tuning their computer to run at it's best for any given game should sell their PC and invest in a game console.

Crazy unhinged take. I'm playing Metro Exodus Enhanced, Starfield, Resident Evil Village, Warhammer Darktide, Dying Light 2 etc.... without having to fine-tune my games. Games made properly allow people to set them to a preset created by the developers and have acceptable performance. Minimal changes are fine. Having to literally figure it out by yourself is just proof of lazy development.

This is just lazy UE5 slop dependant on Ray Tracing for the lighting. I play Cyberpunk without Ray Tracing or Path Tracing because the developers did so well with their rasterised lighting. Further proof the developers of this game are incredibly lazy. I can get smooth Path Tracing with my 5090 but the stability rasterisation offers is unparalleled.

Well, all I can say is that those of you having problems with the game are a vast minority compared to those of us that aren't. There's over four million + that are playing without a beef, and maybe a hundred or so on this forum that are having problems. That means those that are dissatisfied are statistically insignificant. If you want to know why your cries are ignored by Bathesda and Virtuos, that's why. You're insignificant compared to those that are satisfied.

Its called bad optimization.
Even with similar hardware between 2 machines the performance will vary a lot.
