Mac version no longer launching after update?
Was playing on my Mac this evening, I came back after dinner and now the game won't launch via steam. Get told "You can’t open the application “Darkest” because it may be damaged or incomplete."

Could the patch released today have broken compatibility?

Yep, that's what I'm seeing too.

DD was running fine yesterday. Today I get a system message: "Darkest cannot be opened".

Running Sequoia 15.1.1

I'm getting the same problem/message as Nakos. "Darkest cannot be opened" on sequoia 15.5

If I go into the local files and show package contents into the "_osx" folder that can be opened, but it doesn't have my save.

I'm having the same problem. I bought the crimson DLC and now it wont run correctly. Any idea what might have happened?

I'm also having the same problem. I was playing DD, then closed the DD app, then the update took place in Steam, then I tried to reopen the DD app, and received the message. Closing and reopening Steam did not fix the issue.

Same here. I was playing, I closed it, it downloaded some small update, and it will not start again. Reinstalling, verifying integrity, and turning off the overlay had no effect. OSX 14.6.1

This makes me feel slightly better cause I just bought the game to try it and went ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane for 2 hours trying to fix but I guess it’s just a weird
