Call of Duty 1 change language to english...but how?

Hi,
I have Steam set to english and bought CoD 1.

But why is it in german language???
On the store page it is also available in english.

I tried to change the language in PROPERTIES, but there is no option for languages.

I tried SUPPORT, but steam always sends me to activision support...but this is a steam problem.

I would realy appreciate your help.

good question. which u need to know which cod 1 u want 1.1,1.4 or 1.5.

in the main menu in the right bottom corner is a 1.3.

Same problem here. I don't know how to "Upgrade or downgrade" I live in Germany but I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate the language I want to play the original version without gay german voices

I haven't been able to find any files for the english language. I hope someone will find one or upload them and post a link.

I didnt do it, but you can try this:
- uninstall the game
-change the country to the USA in your steam account
- install the game, it must be in English
- changing the country back

That helped, thank you very much. But additionally I had to delete hunkusage.dat for this to work.
