Estranged: Act I doesn't stay in my library after uninstall

Yo guys,

from my best understanding the new Steam UI offers functionality to keep free games in library after uninstallation. It's true to all free games i own except for Estranged: Act I (app/261820).

I can't find them under "licenses and product key activations" too. Did you observe similar issue?

Any chance to address it or a way to fix it? I want them still in my library after uninstallation.

p.s.: according to my reddit post link i got this answer from a steam mod:

"Seems like there's some flag missing on those games that prevent them from being stored

Looking at some stuff its "possible" that the flag "releasestate" not being "released" may be causing this issue. Mostly a guess though. But its again likely some configuration issue on the appid that is not flagged or set"

Their response was that it is not a change they can make for free titles without DLC or microtransactions. Act II is different because it will transition to a paid title once it is released out of Early Access, Act I will always be free.

I apologise, but in this case it is out of my hands - if you feel strongly that you want this change to happen, please let Steam support know. If there's enough interest, Valve may change their position.

Hi,

Thanks for reporting this. This has been a long-requested feature from players, but I have been hesitant to ask Valve to make the change because it’s possible they wouldn’t want the game to stay around (for example, if they didn’t enjoy it).

If I get requests from others for this feature, I’ll consider revisiting it – but as it stands there just hasn’t been enough constant interest in this to warrant it.

To make it easier for others to register their interest in this, I’ll pin this topic so it’s easy to find.

I am interested in having this game (for that matter, all games) stay in my library after uninstall.

By the way, I noticed some others missings with this update (Mostly mods like Minerva, Age of Chivalry...)

It's bugged or something bc every ''Free to play games'' can be added to the new library but Estranged: Act I for some reason it doesn't, I tried to install it and then uninstall but it don't work, it don't get registred on your account either.
