Anyone else have this new bug related to parties?
I don't use mods for one, so may only apply to those in my boat.

A few updates back they broke the ability to recall companions (non family clan members) to your party after they escape captivity and recover. The workaround that made it playable was when one of your parties lost a battle you could create a new one with your companions regardless of which fief they were staying, saving you running and picking them up, and then change the leader of the new party with a family member in your party which then swaps position bringing the companion you wanted to your party via a family member whom you can recall and tend to have better stats.

Since latest update, you can begin the process and use the companion to start a party wherever they are staying but when you then go to swap the leaders the newly created party goes from say 45/135 troops to 45/20, and then once the family member arrives at the party after travelling to it 20/20 and I think the leaders name disappears though thats not the main issue.

Anyway, the first bug was a stupid pain in the ass and a step back for the game but you could get around the poor programming with the workaround. Now, via another batch of crap programming another level of stupid has been added.

Explain the logic of being able to recall family from anywhere to the party but not companions as though that makes any sense, and now family can't take control of a party or start one from afar. On top that you can't invite the 20/20 parties to an army.

It's hard to try and enjoy a full campaign without them wrecking the game before you get to finish it. They should make their updates mods in the workshop so they are optional and they don't keep ruining their customers paid for product when they are inevitably terribly implemented.
