also having some issues with mccheater. try getting every possible upgrade, that might help.

Haven't played it on PC, but if Its the same, Its REALLY HARD. In 7 years, I beat him twice. You need to use shotguns and dynamite if I remember correctly. try filling the shotgun up to the top of its ammo and you have to shoot him in the head with EVERY SHOT!

This is the easiest boss ever. If you can't beat him then your bad at video games and need a new hobby.

Use dynamite [or whiskey bottles, Haven't played in forever] on the geysers while he is over them. The second phase will begin after that, just use quickdraw to shoot the dynamite.

I got through the first phase just fine using the TNT arrows, but then for the second part I'm supposed to use Magruder's dynamite packs against him. I assume that means stand near a grey pillar, goad him into throwing something my way and then shoot it out of the air near the pillar.
The problem is, nine times out of ten he throws three loose sticks rather than one bundle, which makes it harder not to get killed while shooting those out of the air at close quarters. And when he throws bundles of dynamite at me, it's almost always not close enough to damage a pillar.
I've spent about three hours on the Magruder boss fight (a quarter of my 100% run) in total now and am getting pretty close to rage uninstalling, any suggestions?

Okay, for other people running into the same problem: the answer is that this is indeed the correct technique, but that there is a glitch. If you find that shooting Magruder's dynamite out of the air does not trigger the cave to collapse, close and relaunch the game.

if anyone else is stuck and happens along this thread,
pretty sure you have to headshot him, and then he'll throw the big bundle. you'll know you got it if he shouts something like "ugh, ♥♥♥♥♥!"

Well it WAS a good game up until this part. Not only is it ONE HIT kills but the other hits drain your life insanely fast and in quick succession. Then you keep blowing up for no reason and are so busy running and dodging, you can see the dynamite coming at you. Absolutely impossible fight, and even worse, it won't let you quit the mission! Need cheat code!
