i just stumbled upon Gun for PC and had a quick look around what i am able to find to make the Game playable in 2022 and on newer OSes.
Those Downloads work for both GOG and Steam Version.

All downloads have just to be download and extracted in the Games "Root" Directory.
For example: C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\GUN\*

Set the Game to english Language and copy over all Files.
Run "Blood.reg" and apply after you have overwritten all Files.
Note: Menu and Menutext will still be in English!

Maybe somewhat later i release a Tool to manage all Files and Settings directly using one Solution. But that only happens if i feel like it^^
