Report a translation problem
This was exactly the answer for me too. It's confusing the person behind the mod puts the two files in a separate folder in the zip. As mentioned though simply move all 3 files (2 in the folder and 1 dll file outside the folder) into the game directory and then just edit the ini file to your current resolution.
That was one problem I also had, I tried to set it to 1280 x 720 (720p) even though my laptop is at 1600 x 900 and it would not work. The display had definitely changed yet the black bars on the sides were still there. Then decided to use my current resolution and it worked.
I find it strange though that widescreen wasnt supported officially on PC when it was on natively supported on PS2 and Xbox releases.
